Field Notes & Updates |
November 12, 2008 |
|
Lots of yellow wheat in Kansas and Oklahoma this year. In most cases, it's due to N deficiency, poor root systems, or fall infections of leaf rust. I'll talk about this more in the November issue of the newsletter. That issue will also have the K-State corn yield test results, an analysis of the top yielders in those tests, and the Corn Top Picks for Kansas from the DSMs and agronomists of most seed companies. Don't miss it! -- SW
