About Us – Lone Tree Publishing Company

Lone Tree Publishing Co., LLC is an independent publisher based in Topeka, Kansas. We have been in business since 1987, specializing in agricultural information for producers and agribusinesses in Kansas and the Central Plains.

Among our other publications in recent years was Kansas Agricultural Law, by Sam Brownback and James B. Wadley. Steve Watson, publisher, is a native Kansan and a graduate of Kansas State University. He has been a farm editor since 1981, and has won national awards for writing and photography. Steve was formerly managing editor of Kansas Farmer magazine, and has also worked for K-State Agronomy in communications.
